Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Alfred ("the app", "we", "us"), a macOS desktop workspace application. By creating an account or otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Alfred. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Acceptable use

When using Alfred you agree not to:

• Violate any law or the rights of others.
• Upload or create content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or contains malware.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Abuse connected third-party services (such as Google Calendar) in ways that violate their terms.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload to Alfred. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the app to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train AI or machine learning models.

4. Third-party services

When you choose to connect a third-party service (for example, Google Calendar), your use of that service remains subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services and you can disconnect them at any time from the Integrations settings.

5. Service availability

Alfred is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

6. Termination

You may stop using Alfred and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the service or other users. On termination, we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alfred is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
